About Us

At Little Bee Soap Co., everything begins in a small Southsea artisan workshop, where tradition meets a bit of stubborn creativity. We are parents to four children and lifelong soap makers. We craft each bar by hand the old-fashioned way—slow, steady, and with ingredients you can actually pronounce. Emma’s soaps are shaped by family life, coastal mornings, and a deep belief that simple things done well still matter. From the first stir of the oils to the last wrap of twine, every product is made with care, honesty, and precision. Little Bee is more than a business; it’s a homegrown craft that keeps growing wings, with the help of a few little buzzy bees.

Living with cold urticaria pushed me to strip my life back to gentler, safer choices—and that’s where natural soap making found me. I learned quickly what sensitive skin loves and what it refuses to tolerate, and that instinct now guides every recipe I create. My customers often face the same frustrations I did, so I craft each bar with a blend of practical know-how and old-school craftsmanship: slow curing, thoughtful ingredients, and a maker’s hand on every step. It’s careful work, but it’s honest work—and it means the people who use my soaps feel genuinely looked after.

Thank you for supporting a small business and a small family. Every bar sold gets us one step closer to starting our own bee-saving charity and creating apprenticeships for young people. I will always endeavour the lifelong pursuit of mastery.
